When you make a booking via the website, email, social media, telephone and text with Every Bounce Counts, you are agreeing to this disclaimer and our full terms of hire listed below:
· Our £50 booking deposit (also referred to as booking fee) is used for reserving your item/s on the date you chose.
· Booking fee/deposit will not be refunded if you choose to cancel your booking. This is to cover admin and any other costs incurred with preparation for your party.
· Bookings need to be for a minimum products value of £75, excluding any admin fees/delivery charges etc. Please be advised that any bookings that come through for less than the minimum basket charge, we will contact you whether you'd like to add anything else on, round up to the minimum charge without adding anymore products or cancel your booking at the cost of admin charge £10.
· Please be advised that upon confirming your booking, you agree to our terms and conditions and that you have read all information prior to choosing the equipment/service with full knowledge of our requirements. If for any reason the booking has to be downgraded, there will be an admin fee added.
· If you're hiring a venue for your event, it is your responsibility to check what documents they require, prior to booking. However as mentioned previously, we hold a £5 million Public Liability Insurance, Risk Assessment for all equipment and services provided as well as yearly PAT and inflatables tests.
· We cannot be held accountable for bad weather throughout the day. Please note if you have booked and it's forecasted to rain, we reserve the right to cancel your booking due to health & safety. We will offer any alternative form of entertainment, should we have availability. Please note we will notify you of our decision, any time, the day before and sometimes let you decide, if you'd rather wait until the morning for a final decision.
· We require clear access to the garden/place of hire on our arrival. Failure to do so may result in delays in other bookings, meaning that we would either have to cancel your booking on the spot, or bring the hired products at a later time during the day, depending on our schedule.
· On our arrival, if we have to cancel your booking for any genuine reason, (i.e. if garden/hall is not big enough, has a stair access not mentioned on booking, entrance not big enough, you have double booked, changed your mind, unfit garden, not as described on booking form, forgot to cancel etc.) we will charge you 100% of the hire fee for loss of hire, loss of travel time and staff wages, admin and delivery costs.
· We cannot take any responsibility or liability for any accidental damage caused while taking in or out our equipment through your property. Some properties have restrictions, narrow paths, patio steps, slopes, wetness, plant pots, hazards etc. Please clear all alley ways/side entrances and through houses to avoid hazards prior to arrival and not once we arrive.
· With venues/halls we always ask for a minimum 30 minutes window slot before the party starts and afterwards to help stop any delays. We might get delayed on the last job or traffic, parking. Once we arrive and carry all the equipment into the property, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen delays in getting to you on the day, if you have requested set times.
· The person/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible for any damage or injury occurred as a result of accidental or misuse while on hire. Any damage, theft, improper use or lack of care caused to the equipment while on hire, must be paid for at full retail replacement costs plus loss of hire while waiting for a replacement.
· Our company cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment. We make sure everything we setup is safe to use, therefore things such as: misplaced mats by someone else during the hire, does not hold us accountable for any injuries.
· We have the right to cancel any booking by telling you if we deem this necessarily, this is very unlikely but on occasions we will need to cancel due to the weather - Rain, Wind speed, Gust speed, Location, Size, Unsuitable area/place. Alternative services or dates will be provided depending on your requirements and circumstances.
· If you choose to cancel a part of your booking, we will add a £15-£20 cancellation cost, to cover our admin and unavailability of the cancelled item to others, for the time you've had it secured in your booking. We therefore ask you that you think before booking to avoid those.
· Any loss/damage caused by you/guests, you will be as the hirer responsible and we will charge/invoice you to pay, failing to pay will result in a solicitor’s letter, court and then enforcement all plus costs will be added if you fail to pay. This includes the cancellation amount not being paid.
· Licensed premises must have a minimum of 5 million pounds liability insurance to cover events and property while on site.
· We will only contact you regarding our services and products. We do not sell or transfer your data to anyone else. By agreeing to our terms and conditions you also agree for us to make contact with you via email, Facebook, social media, telephone or any other means necessarily.
BOUNCY CASTLES/SOFT PLAY
· It is the responsibility of the person who is hiring the bouncy castle/soft play to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury to users or damage to the hired equipment.
· No adults are allowed on the bouncy castle unless you have hired an adult bouncy castle, otherwise, the bouncy castles have an age limit of 12 years. It is strictly prohibited for both children and adults to be on the bouncy castle at the same time. If children are on the bouncy castle, then no adults are allowed on the bouncy castle and vice versa.
· Please ensure the user limit/height is not exceeded using the inflatables/equipment and a responsible person 18 years and over must always supervise the inflatable/equipment.
· Ensure the inflatable is not overcrowded as this will be dangerous for the users and damage could occur resulting in you being liable for the costs of repair. Each unit has an applicable user limit, which we will advise you of on the day of booking and/or hire. If uncertain, our website has all the information needed.
· Do not allow children or adults to become boisterous, push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
· No face-paints, party-poppers, confetti, coloured streamers or ‘silly string’ to be used near or on our equipment, whether its soft play or an inflatable, as these can stain.
· You are not allowed to stick posters/labels to the castles with but not limited to tape, blue tack etc. due to artwork getting this way damaged.
· Please make us aware of any underground pipes or wires as we will not be held responsible for any damage while pegging the bouncy castle into the ground.
· No water to be used on the inflatable by hose, swimming pools, etc.
· The inflatable/stationary equipment must be fully secured to the ground at all times during use and never moved while on hire.
· In light rain always leave the inflatables on as the air inside will help dry the products and wipe over with a towel before using.
· In the event of heavy rain and/or wind, it is recommended that the inflatable is switched off. Once the heavy weather passes, turn it back on to allow the equipment to dry. Also use towels to make sure it's dry before bouncing.
· Do not use the inflatable in high winds, turn off and check wind speed going near or over 24 mph. We always check this before hire, but things may change throughout the day.
· Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is always kept clear and never cover as it sucks air in.
· Please have the inflatable ready for collection in the same state as it was delivered to you, i.e. make sure it is inflated.
· If the inflatable is left in a dirty condition including face paint, food, glitter, sand, human etc. you will be charged accordingly, depending on the extend of the damages/misuse.
· The soft play has an age limit of 7 years old. Please ensure no one over this age uses the soft play.
· To avoid choking and mess, no food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on or near the bouncy castle/soft play.
· No smoking or barbeques on or near the bouncy castle/soft play.
· All footwear, glasses, jewellery or any other hard, sharp, or dangerous objects which could cause damage to other children or the equipment, must be removed before using the bouncy castle/soft play.
· Please be advised that if you require the equipment for a designated time slot, we will require this to be sent to us latest 3 days before your event. If you are happy to wait for your 8 hour time slot to be sent to you when we plan the route, please just be aware that no changes to those times are then possible, and we cannot change the route.
· No pets to be allowed on or near the bouncy castle/soft play.
· Please ensure that an area of 3 feet (1 metre) around the equipment is completely clear if necessary.
· Please ensure that all balls from the ball pit are returned to us; loss of a significant number of balls may incur an extra charge.
· Any damage to the equipment must be reported to us as soon as possible and may result in an additional fee.
· The hirer will be responsible for any loss of equipment during the hire period and will be charged accordingly.
· Climbing, hanging, or sitting on walls or beams of the bouncy castle is dangerous and must not be allowed.
· Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as a child could easily bounce off the step and get hurt. The step is there to assist users in getting on and off.
· Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the bouncy castle as indeed any child who is feeling unwell or taking medication.
· If the bouncy castle is not being used for any part of the day, please switch the blower off at the mains unless it is close to the collection time.
· Do not allow anyone to be on the bouncy castle during inflation or deflation or whilst deflated.
· Please warn children of the tie down points (if appropriate) and make the area behind the unit, where the electrical blower is sited, out of bounds for children.
· Please ensure that our equipment is kept in a clean condition - if we must have the equipment professionally deep cleaned before the next hire, then we may have to charge you extra.
· The bouncy castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the bouncy castle should not be used.
· In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the bouncy castle is switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.
· Should the equipment fail for any reason, please ensure all users get off the bouncy castle immediately and contact us as soon as possible.
· No unauthorized person should move the bouncy castle or tamper with the electrical equipment.
· The inflatable must be returned in an acceptable condition, i.e., clean, unsoiled and undamaged. If it is badly soiled or damaged, the hirer will be expected to pay an additional charge to cover the cleaning costs and our loss of earnings if the inflatable is rendered out of commission for any reason.
· We are covered by Public Liability Insurance, and a copy of this is available on request.
Our bouncy castles and soft play equipment comply with health and safety guidelines, are fully tested and insured.
KIDS' ENTERTAINMENT
· We have your children’s safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result we reserve the right not to proceed with the entertainment under certain conditions, including but not limited to: lack of space for the entertainment to take place, unsafe conditions, i.e. slippery floor, etc.
· All children must be supervised by an adult at the place of hire (excluding ourselves), to monitor the behaviour of children and ensure the entertainment is being watched over. We do our best to keep the entertainment as safe as possible, however we cannot accept liability for any accidents or injuries that may occur during the entertainment.
· No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed to be consumed during the entertainment, this will ensure safety for children and avoids making a lot of mess to the venue and our equipment.
· No smoking is permitted near the entertainment.
· Children must not push, collide, fight or behave in a boisterous manner which is likely to injure or cause distress to others.
· No pets or sharp instruments to be allowed during the entertainment.
· If a bouncy castle is hired alongside entertainment, this will be switched off during the package time, unless the castle is hired from elsewhere, then it would be your responsibility to switch in off and on again.
· Any damage to the equipment must be reported to us as soon as possible and may result in an additional fee.
· The hirer will be responsible for any loss of equipment during the hire period and will be charged accordingly.
· For bookings taking place in a flat, we will require parking to be available on the premises of the flat, as well as lift access if not on the ground floor.
FACE PAINTING
Please note that we only use professional water-based face paints which are fully compliant with EU and FDA toy and cosmetic regulations. These paints are hypoallergenic and include anti-bacterial properties which are specifically for use on the face and skin. Paint can easily be removed using mild soap and water. Some skin types are prone to some very mild initial staining – a small amount of mild baby shampoo will remove this gently.
· All our equipment is thoroughly cleaned after each booking.
· We have your children’s safety and interests in mind at all times and as a result we reserve the right not to paint under certain conditions, including but not limited to:
· Painting faces of anyone under 3 years of age. The face paint manufacturers do not recommend paint for anyone below this age and very young children can sometimes be overwhelmed by the results. We may paint a small design on hands or arms of children between 2 - 3 years of age, but this will be at the discretion of the face painter. Children under the age of 2 will not be allowed to be painted.
· Painting faces of anyone who is obviously unwell (runny nose/temperature/rash) or has any other visible skin complaint (eczema; chicken pox; acne; cold sore; open wounds; eye infections etc.).
· Painting faces of anyone against their wishes (this may result in stopping painting before the final result if a child becomes uncomfortable or changes their mind). Please do not force your child to be painted if they really are uneasy or unwilling – face painting should be an enjoyable experience for both the child and parent.
· Children must be under constant adult supervision (excluding ourselves) whilst being painted or waiting their turn.
· If you believe the person to be painted has sensitive skin, a skin patch test can be carried out. It is the guardian’s responsibility to inform the face painter in advance if this is the case. Every Bounce Counts cannot be held liable for any allergic reaction to the paint.
· If you are making a booking for a children’s party, please ensure all parents are aware in advance that a face painter will be on site, especially when parents/guardians are unlikely to be present. It is the host’s responsibility to ensure that all parents/guardians have been informed and that any comments are relayed back to the face painter.
· Without prejudice we reserve the right not to paint any persons we feel should not be painted.
· Children face painted by other artists cannot go on and/or use the bouncy castle or soft play (if applicable) as this will very likely stain the PVC material which would be very difficult to get off (if possible at all). This may result in extra charges for the damaged products. If you're looking at hiring a bouncy castle from us and would like face painter also, please ask us to package this us for you.
· For bookings taking place in a flat, we will require parking to be available on the premises of the flat, as well as lift access if not on the ground floor.
